Portamora

Already booked?

Make sure you got a cabin you'll love.

You've booked your cruise. Now find out what's above, below and beside your cabin, read from the cruise line's official deck plan. It's free and takes a minute.

Get your free cabin report

Tell us about your booking and we'll send a full report on your cabin, better spots on your ship, and whether today's price for your cabin type is lower than what you paid. Free, and no obligation.

Who did you book with?
If your booking could move to Portamora with no change in price, would you want us to look after it?

Watching your price, reminding you of deadlines, and a real person on your side. Just tell us what you think; nothing moves without you.

Meanwhile, these rules of thumb work on any ship:

  • For the least motion, choose a cabin low and in the middle of the ship (midship), near the central elevators.
  • For quiet, avoid cabins directly under the pool deck, buffet, theater or nightclub, and right beside the elevators or service areas.
  • Cabins at the very front feel the most pitching in rough seas; cabins at the very back can feel some vibration from the engines.
  • Some balcony cabins have partly blocked views (lifeboats, for example); the deck plan marks them, so check before you book.

What you get, free

A second pair of eyes on your booking

  • Your cabin, checked

What's above, below and beside it: the pool deck, a nightclub, the buffet or just more cabins. Plus how much the ship moves there, and how sure we are.

  • Better spots on your ship

If your cabin has a catch, we show the areas of the same ship that score better for you. Ask, and we'll look at what's actually open.

  • A price check

Tell us what you paid and we'll compare it with today's fare for your cabin type. Many lines let you move to a lower fare before final payment; we'll tell you if that's worth asking about.

Questions

Is it free?
Yes. The cabin check is instant, and the full report and price check cost nothing. There's no obligation.
Will anything change with my booking?
No. We only look and tell you what we find. Nothing changes unless you decide it should.
Where does the cabin information come from?
From each cruise line's own official deck plan, read deck by deck. We tell you how sure we are for every cabin, and we never guess what the plan doesn't show.
Can I move my booking to Portamora?
Soon, for many bookings, at no extra cost: the same cruise and the same price. The rules differ by cruise line, so we'll check yours first. If you're interested, say so on the report form and we'll tell you when it's open.
How does Portamora make money?
Portamora is free to use. When you book, we earn a commission from the cruise line, which doesn't change your price. Commissions play no part in our matching: the engine can't see them.
